We bought a patio villa in 2013 and continued using the lawn service of the previous owner. We were only occasional visitors (whenever we could sneak away for a few weeks at a time). Over time we noticed that some of the lawns on our street were BY FAR in better condition than others. We discovered they were using Shrub Busters, owned by John Kopko, 352-299-6887. We hired him (and 3 others on our street now have him as well).

I can't say enough about his work. He is polite, hard-working, conscientious, knowledgeable about grass and plants, and takes pride in his work.

An example...a neighbor is away until June. John stopped by today to see if I could get the neighbor to call him (neighbor's phone is turned off when they are gone) because he noticed the grass in the back was looking too brown. He wanted to be sure it was being watered enough and if not, then there could be a disease problem. I might add....this is his weekly "check". He doesn't always mow each week because it is dependent on the conditions at the time. He is now letting it get a bit longer to get it ready for the hot summer. Even on days he doesn't mow he runs through with his blower to keep things looking tidy. My husband is super OCD when it comes to his lawn and he really has confidence in John.

Today we had to let him go as we are now permanently down here and will be caring for the lawn ourselves. SO.....to help John and YOU...I highly recommend
