Burns did our house last spring. They were easy to work with and did a great job. You pick out the exact slabs you want at Ultimate Granite on Rolling Acres Rd.

Once they come out to the house to measure, you go to their shop and actually see how you want the templates oriented on the slabs. Doing it that way you have no surprises if you want certain patterns in the critical viewing areas.

We just had our counter tops done by Burns. They were very professional and certainly know their stuff. On the down side, don't be in a hurry, they are extremely busy. I would highly recommend them.

We are in process of having an addition constructed that requires countertops. Part of the addition is exterior. Exterior usage requires granite. (There are a few quartz manufacturers that have warranties extended to exterior usage.) Granite is sold in slabs, usually at three price levels. Low, medium, high; 1, 2, 3; or A, B, C. Places like Ultimate Granite only sell full slabs. They do no cutting or fabricating. We found that the better pricing comes from a place that can sell you the granite from their own yard or their own suppliers AND can cut and fabricate the granite. The reason....is they can sell you a partial slab or just the square footage you need. They will also sell remains of slabs at a good price for smaller jobs.

Quartz is usually more expensive than the highest grade of granite. The price has even risen even higher with jumbo super slabs that are now around 65 sq. ft. each.

The better they are, the busier they are, so the granite contractors who fabricate are VERY busy right now. Take your measurements or your house plans with you to get a good estimate. Be patient and find the granite contractor who best meets your needs.

We used Duncan Stone for our granite installation in our patio villa. Price was $4,500 mid grade $60 sq. ft. This price includes granite in both baths and two new sinks. We have no seams and they did a great job.

Agree, Duncan Stone does do a great job - we are very pleased with the kitchen and bath they remodeled for us with granite.

We used Duncan also and Duncan Stone doesn't take ANY money up front. No deposit needed...when the job is complete and your happy you pay them in full. No other contractor that we've ever used did not expect something up front.

Agree, Duncan Stone is the best for stone counters. They do Granite, Quartz, Silestone, Marble, probably more. Quality work, competitive pricing and great service.

We had Duncan come out and measure and never heard from them again even after calling. They are off our list. Evan had the granite already picked out.

Used Burns for Kitchen and 2 baths. Great people to work with. I was hesitant to go with granite because of the need to seal every year. However Burns seals it with a solution they guarantee for 15 years. That sold the deal for us. I've enclosed some pics.
