Default Interesting Article about the Bush Presidency by another Republican

This is a link to a short article by Ed Rollins about the Bush presidency, which compares him to some other recent Presidents. I found it interesting: http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/...ama/index.html

Succinct.

The Presidency is a tough, demanding job which ages people rapidly and pushes their stress buttons fully. Congratulations and thanks to all who have held the job.

I agree and really question Nancy Pelosi's comments yesterday that one of her favorite moments was when the helicopter carrying the Bush's lifted off...she said "It felt like a 10 pound anvil was lifted off my head"

Wonder why she felt that was necessary to say !!!

Because she is what she is - self-centered, hypocritical, and tactless. Many will feel the same if she, as one of those 20+ year Congresspersons responsible for the 9% approval rating, ever is voted out.

Default I find the most interesting quote in the article....

"One thing about the presidency is that you can only make decisions based on the information at hand. You don't get to have information after you make the decision -- that's not the way it works."

Is the most revealing. He (or any POTUS) is not judged based on that. They are Monday morning quarter backed by the media and partisan spin masters to sway we the people. As I have said before, as inferred in this article, Obama too will find he will make decisions in the same manner. Some will contain information he will not be able to share even if it turns out to be a bad or unpopular decision. He has yet to discover what it is he cannot do or say....even in his own behalf. What he has going for him is he has a significant break...tolerance....allowance in the media.....for now.
