A friend and I visited the Villages the first time in April and we both fell in love!
Wont be retiring for a few years yet but am truly aiming to make TV my home.

Can anyone tell me where I could get a copy of The Villages Covenants?
I live in a community that has an HOA with covenants and was just wanting to learn the specifics of The Villages covenants.

I am very jealous of everyone moving in now! Save a place for me!!!
Will definitely be back at least for short visits between now and then.

They are generally specific to the unit you are buying...but it you go to districtgov.org and click on the HOW DO I menu and then DOWNLOAD MY DEED RESTRICTIONS, you can select a county and see all of the various declarations.

justjim...thank you for posting that. That will have to be my new mantra "There will always be homes for sale in The Villages." I plan on joining you all in The Villages when my family obligations to stay in the Midwest are no longer present. Until then please keep the light on for me and the other gonnabees/willabees.
