So, the Chinese - yet again in an act that is not even close to "defiance" has told the UN to pound sand. Not worried even a little bit of an embargo, military blockade or any other response from the US other than some turd bag token saying "I said NO!" (dont make me say no till I am black in the face)...

So, US/USSR heat in the kitchen? Heck no! Now we can go at it with a country who builds all of our stuff. Heck, they can embargo US! Then lets see ya'all get that new Mac Book Pro.

Unemployment is at an all time high since the depression. The fact that many people timed out of unemployment rolls and are simply not looking for employment (thus are not counted) is simply too much for a typical Obama dogmatic liberal to comprehend.

The government only counts people as “unemployed” if they are actively looking for work. Everyone else who isn’t working is considered out of the labor force entirely. Ordinarily, that makes sense: People who are retired or who choose to stay home to raise a family aren’t unemployed; they’re just choosing not to work. But the recession messed with the formula: The economy was so bad for so long that millions of jobless workers simply gave up looking for a job, meaning they no longer counted as unemployed. The unemployment rate topped out at 10 percent during the recession, but it would have been higher — possibly a lot higher — if those so-called “discouraged workers” had been included.
