We moved here June 2011 and the first three years we did not attend any movies. In the summer of 2014 I said to my wife we should go to the movies and we picked "Now you see me", because I'm such a fan of magic. Well, we saw about 10 movies that year and that was the worse one of the bunch. We saw everything from Captain Phillips to the Lone Ranger.

I usually look at IMDB website before going to the movies and if the film is rated lower than a 7.0, I don't go. We have since been to about 30 movies at the three theaters combined, and the only other film I really didn't like was "The Conjuring", and guess what, they have a sequel to that film also. They are running out of ideas, besides bad sequels everything else seems to be super Heroes. The only one I ever went to was the Christian Bale 'Batman' films and only his first two, not the lame Dark Knight Rises.

I would not be guided by my taste in movies totally but Dark Knight Rises bad? That's the first thing you ever posted that I don't agree with, I thought it was great and have watched it over and over. I want to get the love for the movies back in our life. It was just to dangerous to go near our old home.

I'm not talking about the Dark Knight, the one with Heath Ledger as the Joker. I thought that film was great and even bought it on DVD. The follow-up film with Tom Hardy, just couldn't get into that film. Later of course Tom Hardy appeared in the Revenant with Leonardo and there he was excellent as the antagonist and became my favorite film of last year.

My point is action heroes and sequels are all were given. What's wrong with a good crime drama or a plain old drama. Didn't Hollywood notice that 'Gone Girl' was a huge hit.

Thank's, I'm going to check it out. I'm misunderstanding several items at home with Mrs Nucky also...my bad...we're on the same page. Take Care.

The Villages' Theaters are extremely safe Nucky and easy to find. There is one in each Square. I have been going to about one movie every week since June 2005. The Rialto was the only movie theater here when we moved in June 2005 to the Villages from Palm Harbor. The Old Mill Playhouse opened that Fall of 2005. It is one of the fanciest movie theaters I have been in 10 states or so.

I loved The Conjuring and cannot wait for The Conjuring 2.

On another note, I really enjoyed Tom Hardy in a number of his movies.
