And......we found the cost of living sheet to be pretty close to the real deal! Don't worry, you won't be pressured by the sales people if you ask for this information!

Cool I'm a wannabee.....

My own estimate, being generous, including everything except food & personal items - came to approx. $1,000 per month (without mortgage).

Default interesting....

My estimated monthly cost to live in TV included cable or satellite television and pest control/termite insurance; along with internet service - that's pretty close to my projected $1k monthly expenses - with the exception of emergency repairs, wear & tear, etc.

I have a series of notes on Moving to the Villages. In it is an estimate of the monthly/annual living cost.

Please go to https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...ad.php?t=17717

It is in the Nuts and Bolts forum.

Strange. It opened when I put the post up. I tested it.

Try again:

Moving to the Villages - Part 1

If you cannot get it from the link go to the Nuts and Bolts forum. It is in Part 1.

Awesome - thanks for posting. By the way, for comparison purposes, what size house and lot do you have? I'm thinking our utilties run slightly higher, but we have a 1926 sf house with a very small lot. And we're here full time, and the comcast we have is higher and includes high speed internet. But the figures you posted will certainly give someone a good ballpark idea. Thanks again.
