Default Need name of Knee Replacement Doctor In Orlando

Heard there is an Orthopedic Doctor in Orlando who does knee replacements thru the side instead of the front. I believe his last name is pronounced Dr No, but it is not spelled that way. Has anyone heard of him? Is he with a Speciality Group? I am unable to find him on any websites.

I saw Dr Nguyen this spring and he gave me a December time frame (They did call with a cancellation that would have moved it up to October. I then went to see Dr. James Duke in Ocala. He did total knee replacement on May 31 and I was playing golf in 22 days and shot my age on the 29th day. Maybe I was just lucky or he's just that good. zI had very little post op pain and was walking without any aids in less than a week. Just an option for you to think about

Wow, thank your lucky stars that you have done so well. It is not that way for every one but then there are so many variables, weight, age, amount of damage in the knee area. So good luck and be good to the knees, take the Dr and family out to dinner. bbbbbb Wish I could say that for sure.

If you use Dr Nguyen, make sure you examine the statement of benefits from your insurance company very carefully. They overcharged my insurance by $9000.00 falsely claiming to have performed procedures that never happened.

I had 3 surgeries done by Dr. Nguyen in 2015. One was for a Morel Lesion that Tri-County Ortho (Dr. Tankson) said was a hematoma and to be patient, it would go away. Monthly visits for 18 months after my fall and it still was huge. When I got an appointment with Dr. Nguyen in Maitland for my knees he took one look at it and knew what it was, performed surgery and took out a huge sac of fluid, then 3 months later did my left knee and 3 months after that did my right knee. All were done in Orlando in his day surgery center. He now has an office in Orlando too. I was not 65 at the time. If you are on Medicare, Medicare requires an overnight stay and those surgeries are now performed at Dr. Phillips Hospital in Orlando by him. He's really good. He as done 25 knee surgeries on my street in Pennecamp alone and you may have to wait a long time for a surgery appointment.

Another alternative for you (which 2 girls on my street have done and were quite successful with short recovery time) is Tri-County Ortho on 466 (Dr. Mitchell). He is lifting muscles, not cutting and it's very similar to Dr. Nguyen's procedure. Probably a much shorter wait time. Good Luck!

Dr. Joe Tutorino in Orlando is the best; did my wife's knee on 12/30 and my shoulder 6/27/15; with Florida Hospital Group; number is (407) 303-5126; top rated surgeon.
