Default master bedroom closet

I find that having the master bedroom closet opening into the master bathroom creates more dust from the condensation even though we are careful to close the closet door. Has anyone else found this to be a problem?

Our closet opens to the bath also but we don't have that problem, whether the door is open or not. I cannot see how condensation or having the closet open to the bath is going to create "more" dust. If there is dust, it will be there regardless. Maybe I am missing something here.

Condensation creates dust?
Maybe a furnace/AC filter needs replacing.

Default condensation

We have a air cleaner attached to the furnace in our current home. We don't have as much dust in the other closets in the house that don't open into a bathroom. My reason for asking is that I like some of the Villages floor plans but hesitate to have another home with the master bedroom closet opening into the master bathroom.

There's a lot of dust in other areas of the house but not in the master bedroom closet. Only the shoe smell. Anyone know how to get rid of that?

I've read that charcoal absorbs odors. If you can find some, just place it in a container in the closet.
