I am putting my thoughts here because I am tired of being censored in tbe original thread. I don't care what the circumstances are if tbe event, there is nothing humorous about a fig being beaten to death. Nothing. Shame shame shame on tbe people who posted comments about food substitutions, etc., on tbe thread. My real hope is that karma is alive and real in your world. There. I said it.

Apparently, there was a robbery and a pet dog was beaten to death.
I too like dogs but don't you think your post, your view of priorities is a bit STRANGE.
You are surprised that some low life who broke into someones home would not stop to be sure the DOG was well taken care of.
You seem to be a good person-so thanks for that.

Food substitutions, where was that? Every post showed empathy. You were censored?

A number of posters just started putting nonsense posts, presumably because they thought it was funny. One person in particular posted about how sad and continued with one of the country clubs doesn't allow substations. Those posts appear to be down now, too.

If it would have occurred in my home, my pets would be licking his blood up off the floor before I could get a mop to clean it up. But, no fool would be stupid enough to break in while I was home. My home is so small that I have a weapon within arms reach anywhere I happen to be in my house. But, I doubt I would use a weapon on a scumbag that would beat a pet. He would find out what that felt like for sure.

But, once again this is NOT a political issue. It's bad enough that we stray off the topic on each thread, without dedicating a thread to a non-political issue.
