Default Champ Men's Day

Can somebody tell me...or direct me too...information regarding Men's Day on the championship courses. I'm about to get my first priority membership and I don't know all the details. I've checked the usual websites and there is some pretty good information. But some of it was a bit confusing to figure out and I figured I'd just come here for clarification.

If any of you guys are regular Men's Day players, I'd just like to hear your slant on it. I won't even ask any specific questions. I'd just like to hear your general takes and any info you can provide.

Thanks.

Are Men's Day events always on Tuesday, like they are for the executive courses? Do different courses have different kinds of events? How many courses have Men's Day events any given week. Atr all events 18 holes? Etc.

By the way, I've checked the usual websites and there is some pretty good information. But they simply didn't answer all my questions. So please be patient with me...heheh.

Thanks.
Men's day is always Tuesday morning and 18 holes with first tee time at this time of year at 7:28. You have to indicate if you play from the blue or white tees, and the organizers assign foursomes and tee times. You sign up on The villages.net under golf-->tournament registration/champ/ men's-ladies day on Tuesday through Thursday for the following Tuesday. The courses rotate within each geographic area, so Evans Prairie, Bonifay, and Belle Glade is one rotation south of 466A. CG,HV, and MH also rotate. I think OB, TDS and HH rotate north of 466 as does GV and NL. The schedule can be found in golfthevillages.com by clicking on a championship course and the men/ladies day schedule on the right. They rotate all kinds of formats---individual, 2 person, team---net, quota 15 or 20 best team, etc. It's a lot of fun, it would be even more fun if I played on Tuesday like I do Wednesday---> Monday. Hope this helps.

Oh, almost forgot, you love these:1rot fl:

Good info, ge. Without having examined it all in depth yet...heheh...would you say there is a "best" priority membership? Should I just bite the bullet and get one for all the courses? Or could a membership with 2, 3, or 4 courses keep me occupied with good Men's Day events? By the way, I would definitely include Mallory in my membership...might there be a best group of clubs that includes Mallory without going for the all club membership? (I'm not rolling in dough, but with the price structure the way it is, it almost seems like the all-club might be best. Whaddayathink?)

I didn't really look at it all that closely. Given the small difference between 3,4 and all clubs, I just did them all. Living in Lake Deaton, I've played Glenview, Lopez, and Hacienda once each and palmer a few times, never played TDS or OB. I'm not a big fan of Cane Garden, except the restaurant, so most of my rounds are EP, BF, BG, HV and MH. But every now and then someone wants to play up north, so I don't regret having joined them all.

Oh, and one more question. Is it any problem for a newbie single player to get in Men's Day events?

None whatsoever, just sign up. If you want to play Tuesday, enroll by midnight. You can play at Belle Glade, Cane Garden, Nancy Lopez or Orange Blossom
