This is an excellent video that clearly explains the rules of the road for roundabouts in the State of Washington. Since the State of Florida has no rules regarding roundabouts, perhaps it should be shared with State Representative O'Toole and/or State Senator Baker with a suggestion to consider writing an appropriate bill for our state.

Yes, this is an excellent video. It's been posted on this board previously and that's how I found out about it. I think it should be broadcast on The Villages television network often or at least they should have a link to the website available for Villagers.

Yes, thanks. I try to follow the principle stated, "Maintain Your Lane," but, when you go 270 degrees around in the inside lane and then you immediately confront the gate to your village and want to pass through the "Resident's" Lane, then in a few feeto turn right onto your street, it isn't practical to "maintain" your lane while in the circle.
So, forgive me, everyone, for changing lanes in the traffic circle. Just trying to do the right thing and get home at the same time. |
