Thumbs up Hell or High Water - Excellent

Saw Hell or High Water today -- not the usual type of movie I go to, but really enjoyed it. Excellent performances all around, and you really got a feel of small town life in West Texas. I would not be surprised if there were best actor and best supporting actor Oscar nominations to come out of this movie.

Just an FYI: the movie is R rated - language and violence.

That's one I might go to see soon.

I saw Sully last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. On Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB, Hell or High Water received even higher marks from critics and the audience. Wow, evidentaly a really good movie...NOT! Saw it today and was SO disappointed. In hindsight, I wouldn't waste my time or money on it. Just my opinion, of course.

I agree that this is an excellent movie-- great story, acting, and photography.
Hell or High Water (2016) - Rotten Tomatoes

Only about 5 other people in the movie today at the Rialto so I do not know how long it will be here in the Villages.

Look carefully at the gas prices in one scene.

This should be out soon on DVD and Blu-Ray. Check out the gas prices in a certain scene. Hell or High Water (2016) - Rotten Tomatoes

Saw this at the Rialto and again on Blu-Ray. Quite a good movie and I was very excited by that jackpot. I had thought it was the gas station prices. It is the jackpot.
