Default Info needed about TV

Any info anyone can give> My husband and I are from Philly pa and planning to come down to check out TV but dont really know a whole lot about the community. Ex. What are the age restrictions for adults, children, and do the different Villages have different POA fees?

I just did a search on 'amenity fees' and found info: Currently running about $135 for new residents (based on when you move in - not the village itself). Note: not POA fees.

I did a search for 'age restrictions' and found: No children under 19 more than 30 days. 20% of residents can be under 55 at purchase of new home.

I'd suggest that you spend a few days researching this site for info and then ask a specific question(s) that you can't find the answer to. The people on this site will be more than glad to help.

Perhaps you should call (or e-mail) a sales rep and arrange a visit. They will be more than happy to provide the basic type of info that you requested.

Great post Russ... good information. It was suggested to me, however that we should not merely suggest the new person do a search as mentioned earlier in this thread and other threads. We should also cite specific threads by name, if possible, or say nothing at all. This will especially help with newbees and the unfamiliar terminology we may use on TV.

Thought about that but there were so many threads that I found I was surprised that they couldn't find ANY.

I think it might be daunting at first to try the search since they are not familiar with it but in the long run you'll find much more info.

I think the best place to start would be Zcaveman's great set of threads on moving to TV:

Moving to the Villages - Part 1

Moving to the Villages - Part 2

Moving to the Villages - Part 3
