Anyone know anything about the line dancers who were at Brownwood last night? There were about 8 of them and they moved like crazy. Looking for info about the group!

Not sure of this information, but maybe this can be a start. They are members of an advanced line dancing class and their instructor often dances with them on the Squares.

Since nobody has yet jumped in to be able to help, I did a little speculative research. I think the line dance group you enjoyed at Brownwood may be the Motown Movers and Shakers from the Captiva Rec Center and their instructor who dances with them may be Wendy Stephens. The best dancers I've seen at one of the squares was the Shaka Dancers at Brownwood last Halloween doing The Thriller Dance. Hopefully they'll be back this year. You can see them dance at the link above and see their website at the link below.

I attended Wendy's class one night to check it out. Although their level was WAY over my head, Wendy and her group couldn't have been more welcoming or gracious! They are just as nice as they are awesome dancers. We love watching them.
