Back in the Carter days Charlie Daniels and his Band became very popular due to their close friendship and association with candidate and eventually President Carter .

Charlie will turn age 80 very soon . Today he discussed in an interview with Neil Cavuto that " The Democratic Party of today has left me very far behind ".

He went on to say : " I just don`t agree with much of what they stand for today and I can`t warm up to their candidate ".

When pressed he shared that he intends to vote for Trump .

Old Charlie and his Band could really bring it . He played at Carter`s Inaugural Ball by request of the Carters .

He was good in his day .

The Democratic Party has walked over many of its long time voters .

They seem to be relying upon the lowest among us and not to help them but to exploit them .

This isn`t the Party of my parents and grandparents . I can no longer recognize who they are .

It's no longer the Democratic party. It's the socialist party. They claim the support of "educated" voters but in reality, the largest base is the 47% that don't pay taxes, the ones that benefit the most from entitlements. Not that educated.
