Default Early Morning Joyrider on the Trail

I often walk very early in the morning.

Today about 4:30 AM I was walking north on the Buena Vista MM trail between St. Charles and Bailey Trail when I heard loud noises from behind me.

I stepped to the side of the path and a gas golf cart is northbound at well over 20mph. There is a guy waving a bottle in his left hand and screaming/ singing at the top of his lungs.

Hope he made it wherever he was going.

When I walk around on the MMP day or night I am ready to get out of the road. That includes stepping off the trail in heartbeat. ( the grass won't hurt you or the grass) Speeding carts ( I'm guessing cause I don't have radar gun) not my problem. (IMO Majority speeding carts are golfers racing to their next tee time, but again I don't have radar gun)

My problem is to stay clear. People walking two, three, and 4 abreast bothers me. Looking to get hit. IMO ( I know I'm not normal) when traffic coming fall into single file, then continue your conversation after the coast is clear.

Too bad there was not a cop on patrol at that time of the morning.

Don't let the isolated cases pretend to distort what is a truly amazing lifestyle here in TV along with it's good neighbor residents.

They can't be everywhere, but a call to 911 might help

I love these "early bird" golf trail/walkers that think because they are up.... Everyone else needs/wants to be!!! Ugh!!! Many trails are directly behind homes so be considerate of your abnormally loud conversations or your golf car radio blaring!! I don't get it! I am new here and out of respect for my fellow neighbors I don't make loud noises/cut grass etc before 9:30 a.m. (Usually even later)
I also have a dog and he is not allowed to bark n if he does lol he has a 3 bark limit!!! 🙊 Courtesy is easy to extend!
Some of the long-timers here in TV says they have seen a lot of changes over the years... Newer folks coming in etc.
I for one am trying my best to uphold the standards to which you expect and have enjoyed over the years!
Southern girl doing my part!! Bless Your Heart!!!!

Being considerate of others is an admirable quality. However for a number of reason including hot weather i understand why some residents are up before dawn out and about

Four thirty in the morning is a little too late to start drinking isn't it?
