Obedience training for dog...

We just a few months back rescued a beautiful black lab male dog. I want to get him some training. He is between four and five years old and weighs around 70 lbs. Any suggestions?

I'm going to take the obedience class at the Lifelong Learning College with my dog Lexi when we are in TV in November.
