Reuters/Ipsos Poll (October 5): Core Political Approval


"Washington, DC- Hillary Clinton has had a good run in polling since the 1st debate. She has solidified her lead and improved her favorability ratings. Trump, on the other hand, has had a rough go lately. However, the adverse news cycles have not significantly depressed his favorability ratings or vote share relative to just before the 1st debate.

General Election Trends

"Hillary Clinton continues to pull ahead of Donald Trump. Among likely voters, the margin has increased by a point with Clinton up 7 percentage points at 44% to Trump at 37%.
A significant number of likely voters continue to support alternatives to the major two candidates with 18% saying they will vote third party (9%), would not vote (3%) or don’t know (6%).
Clinton also leads amongst likely voters on the 4-way ballot, which includes Gary Johnson and Jill Stein (Clinton 42%; Trump 36%; Johnson 8%; and Stein 2%).
Clinton’s favorability score improved in the last week to 50% amongst registered voters, while Trump’s favorability score has also increased by 1-percantage point to 44%."

‘Mike Pence did an incredible job and I’m getting a lot of credit because that’s really my first so-called choice,’ the GOP presidential nominee said Wednesday at a rally in Henderson, Nevada. ‘That was my first hire, as we would say in Las Vegas, and I’ll tell you he was a good one,’ Trump said. ‘He was phenomenal. He was cool. He was smart. Just take a look at him. He was meant to be doing what he was doing, and we are very, very proud of Governor Mike Pence.’

If Pence got it right in the debate for Trump, and I'm not so sure he did, it was because Trump wanted him as VP before all the other VP applicants. Was Pence Trump's first choice? Didn't he look embarrassed at times trying to make others understand how not being polished is not the fault of someone just entering the political arena it's the fault of Americans not being understanding, not knowing what he meant to say?

These polls re created by the left wing media. Can you tell me why Trump draws thousands of supporters at his rallies and clinton only gets hundreds. Tell me tell me tell me please. The only way she will get in is by hook or crook. obama will probably declare the election foul if she doesn't get in.

I am flabbergasted, isn't Henderson and Nevada in general dirtbag Harry Reid the lair's territory. I would think being in the dirtbag's territory there would be little turn out?

I`m listening to CNM and I am sooooooooo very afriad of Trump that I am going to hide in my basement until the election is over and Hillary is in charge . Then it will be safe to walk outside again .
Oh ! Wait ! I don`t have a basement -------- I am going to dig a hole in my backyard and hide in it .

I remember how the term use to be used in construction iron work. It wasn't considered a derogatory term then. I guess you have a different use for it. Maybe you are referring to Trump's extensive construction business, so you use the term loosely. Or, maybe you are just an idiot that parrots words from your limited vocabulary, not understanding them but happy to cast them about as if flinging manure.
