Thumbs up The Girl on the Train.

The Girl on the Train (2016) - Rotten Tomatoes

Liked the acting but the plot seemed rather complicated and not that believable. But then again real life can be a lot stranger than good fiction.

Emily Blunt does a very good job. Emily Blunt - Rotten Tomatoes

It seemed to follow the book rather well if I remember it correctly.

I thought the book was unbelievable and the main character thoroughly annoying!

Tal, I liked the movie a lot. While the plot was somewhat complicated the most "outrageous" part was that it began with an observation on a train. Other than that the relationships probably happen much more often than we naive people would like to think.

When I was taking writing courses in colleges, we were taught the concept "the ring of truth." I guess this story just didn't have it for me. I don't have an addiction, so possibly I just couldn't relate to the main character not being able to stop herself from some of her unfortunate actions.
