Default Political Rumors

This isn't my first rodeo. Other forums I use also have political areas that are segregated from the general populace and I think for good reason. I find the overwhelming number of posts are either based on rumor, speculation or wild-assed guessing or "...it has come to my attention,,," third-person rumor-mongering. My advice to you is to get out your big boy (or big girl) panties and think for yourself. These days it seems that if something is posted on the Internet many believe it must be true. Likewise, if it's said often enough it becomes fact. And if you are predisposed to a certain belief system you will believe almost anything, even though it flies in the face of everything you were taught. One of the causes of our current political grid lock is the individual citizen's inability to independentally form an opinion on issues that will affect our country for decades to come. They toe the party line, either Democrat or Republican, because they fear criticism of their friends. Peer pressure. Still lives after all these years. Say what you want but vote for what is right.

I do not know why but the forum identifies me as "Guest". My identity is "The Sooth". I am responsible for this message.

Not understanding our forum and how it works and then telling us that you frequent many sites, suggests that you are a toll. Just a "rumor."
