Default What about Brownwood?

Moving to Duval...and we were just wondering about the status of the new town square of Brownwood. Seen a thread on this but it was a few months old. Any updates?
Thanks...

I too was wondering if the slowdown in the housing market has caused any delays in the development of Brownwood.

I'm not a resident of TV yet, so don't hear much information on the subject. Thanks for any updates.

brownwood will come, but don't hold your breath, its' a few years out I'd say.
There's plenty of land and homes north of 466a to be developed.

i stopped by the golf store in Colony Plaza two days ago. The store was almost empty of merchandise because they are closing that store as a result of how slow the building has been inn this area. The salesman told me TV is two years behind schedule and they don't expect to start building across 466A for two more years. That would probably give an indication as to the status of Brownwood.

Thanks for the information. I'm sure the slowdown has effected everyone, including TV (no doubt to a lesser extent than some other developers).
Some of the new active adult developments around here are hurting right now.

I drove along 44A there is a sign stating that 44A //will be closed soon (sign gave dates but I didn't pay attention) My guess is that they will be putting in a golf cart tunnel under 44A (44A runs East and West just North of highway 44) as it looks like they are completing the last leg of Buena Vista that will run from 466A to highwday 44.

I played golf with the golf editor of the Daily Sun and he stated that they are well into the construction of the first Championship Course South of 466A that runs along Buena Vista.

My guess is that when they open Buena Vista Blvd from 466A to highway 44 that they will be close to opening golf courses along Buena Vista Blvd South of 466A. This will be the main road to bring in people from the Fl Turnpike and I-75 to the sales office at Sumter Landing and not bring them through the main part of Wildwood. I would also guess that when this is open you will see more signage along I-75 and Fl. Turnpike.

Other than the Championship Course being under construction (fact you can see that from 466A) and the road being 95% done to highway 44 the rest is my opinion as to what will happen first South of 466A. And we all know what happens to opinions so I will duck as everyone tells me how wrong I am.
