I've been going to Dr. Tafur for the past few years...I find him easy to talk to and he actually sits down and listens to you. I would recommend him highly!

Default Good First Impression

I am a new patient of Dr. Tafur's, and have seen him twice. He looks at you, listens to you, and actually hears what you have to say. In addition, he seems to be kind, understanding, and a real gentleman. I discussed a delicate personal situation which he handled with grace and ease.

I have been recommending him to my friends and acquaitances.

I've used Dr. Tafur for a while now and a few months ago he suggested I have a chest x-ray since I was a smoker...Thank heavens he did...Early lung cancer was found, I was operated on and it looks as if I am now cancer free...Thank heavens Dr Tafur "thinks" and suggested the x-ray..I know so many firends of mine, who smoke, but their doctors never suggest a chest Xray!

Sounds like a very good Doctor, is he a MD or a Specialist?

Dr. Tafur is an internist. He was highly recommended to us by a dear friend who does her research. One other plus... as we are still a bit new, we had just gotten around to collecting doc recommendations from friends and my husband was all set to get appointments made. Then life threw us a curve ball as he was admitted to the TV hospital early this week -

The day after he was released he called Dr Tafur's office - and they squeezed him in for an appointment with Dr Tafur. I will post again after we have seen him - but I think having a staff that are kind and understanding is also very important...

PS - Hubs is doing great....

Katzbox - glad your hubby is doing well. I am looking for internist also for my diabetes. I was going to keep my Orlando doctor, but am afraid if I had emergency I could not do the hour and half drive to get to him. Please do post experience and where he is located after your husband's visit. Thanks.
