Clinton Aid about Hillary--We need to 'sober her up'

A newly released email exchange between Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta and Clinton aide Jennifer Palmieri is raising some eyebrows as it suggests Hillary Clinton may have been hitting the sauce a little early.

In the email entitled "Have you sent her the docs?", Palmieri suggests to chairman Podesta that he call Clinton in order to "sober her up some"--at 4:30 in the afternoon.

"Should I call her and talk this through or better to leave with you?" Podesta wrote. "I’m worried she’ll get on with [Clinton council] Cheryl [Mills] and we’ll end up in a bad place. I’m in a session that lasts till 3:30 your time. Is that timely or should I walk out?"

Palmieri responds that she had sent the documents in question, but that a phone call from Podesta might be in order.

"I just sent. Was getting my hair cut and trying to write all this on an iPhone," Palmieri responded. "I think you should call her and sober her up some."

Of course, "sober her up" might also suggest Hillary was in a bad head-space at the time and needed a proverbial kick in the rear from her campaign chairman.

Can't take the pressure.......
