Default Two honest questions for Trump supporters

1) Will it bother you if Trump does not show his tax returns and does not divest himself from his business interest to protect himself of any appearance of a conflict of interest?

2) Would you feel the same if Clinton had been elected and she didn't show her tax returns or divest herself from her business interests?

I'm just curious of your thought process. Thanks in advance for your response. If possible please keep your response civil. I am not attacking you or Trump.

1. No
2. Yes

The law does not require disclosure of taxes or divestiture. If it does the democrats will take care of it for you. If you don't like it get the law changed but stop whining.

A bill is being written to require all candidates to disclose their taxes. Unfortunately it cannot be retroactive requiring Trump to do the same. This has not been a concern in the past since all presidents have done this for the past 50 years, until Trump who skirts the law and protocols whenever he can.

Trump can only violate the constitution with the Republican party's permission. We'll see how long the law and order party will put up with his shenanigans.

Requiring tax returns is not the law, however accepting any gift from a foreign country is against the constitution and therefore an impeachable offense. Any foreign diplomat that stays at a Trump property (as long as Donald owns it) would be complicit in this violation.

So what you are saying is that Hillary should be impeached, right? After all, as SecState her foundation accepted millions from foreigners wishing an audience with her. Or, is this considered another right wing conspiracy to you, to go along with all those obvious felonies she committed by purposely mishandling classified information?

Show me in the Constitution where accepting a gift from a foreign country is an impeachable offense. And is it a "gift" if it is business? A gift is accepting something with nothing in return expected. So, quit your whining and worry about something serious instead of your imagination. If this is the best you can do, then perhaps you should sit back and let others discuss politics.

It was my post and I'm curious why the attitude? I didn't make a statement I just wanted to hear your view point.

Now my next question is were you concerned with Hillary's supposed "Pay to play" when it came to her charity? Lets see if you can answer the question without being so defensive.

Wow, republicans are such hypocrites. If it's Hillary they want her locked up but with Trump it's "Hey, it's not against the law". How to you sleep at night? I mean after you pray to the alter of Trump/Putin.

NO, it will not bother me about Trump's tax returns. I am glad he did not release them. Too many politicians fall in lock step whenever something new is initiated, without question.

I would worry about Hillary's lost emails, a violation of federal law. I would worry about her foundation tax problems that she had to go back and amend five years worth of documentation. I would worry about her lying under oath. There are a whole lot of worries I would have about Hillary. Maybe others feel the same way and that is why she was not elected. I consider ALL Clintons to be scum, so I would not trust my government to any of them.

I consider anyone that supported Hillary to be blind and stupid. And that is me being kind.

We already know what laws Hitlery has committed. What laws has Trump committed that you want him indicted for?

Are you really that much of a crybaby about losing? I have never seen so many libtards crying at one time. Did you all really think that you had won the lottery with Hillary? You do realize that she could give a sh*t about you, right?

1) No
2) Yes.
Now my turn. Please point to any career/ federal politician or czar who hasn't made a fortunate while in office and after leaving?
Do you believe these politicians all became rich without encountering conflicts of interest? Do you discount that quid pro quo agreements were struck while they were in office and now they all seem to land comfortable on their feet in very lucrative positions.

Trump is rich. His brand "Trump"is what he sells. How do you suppose he will be able to ever divest himself of his business since his name is known worldwide.. If he sold every last asset people will still believe that he has a conflict. He is a businessman and business is his business.

Now let's point to lawyer who are politicians and that most of what they legislate rewards their profession and hence them. Are there not continuing conflicts of interest such as implementing regulations leaving office and becoming a regulator or employed by a corporation to oversee the regulations you as legislator implemented?, etc etc etc

For God sake this nonsense going on about Trump amounts to two basic themes. Liberals lost and they can't handle it. And if they can't reverse the elections results then at least they can continue their agenda of diminishing the Trump presidency. Essentially liberals are willing to burn the entire house down to get their way

Personal Best Regards:

Let's look into the future and impeach Trump ahead of time.

Wait I did receive a message from the future, the Clintons are imprisoned.

Even further... Hillary has early release due to AP, bills due to AIDS.

Like what you said...

I'll just add...the house is already burning...they started the fire in the 60s with civil rights laws that began the slow destruction of the nation. There's isn't much time before the point of no return...
