Default Pet Friendly Hotels on I-75 north of Chatanooga

I've been driving back and forth from The Villages to Michigan for four years now and am still looking for a pet friendly hotel north of Chatanooga. On the way down, we like to stay at the LaQuinta in Dalton, Georgia. But, I'd like to get a little farther north on that first day of driving on the way back home. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try using hotelguides.com and filter on pet friendly.

go to Google Maps on your computer, on the left click "nearby", at the top click "hotels", then find the area you want and click on each hotel you are interested in, scroll down to the info and it will tell you if pet friendly.

In the Chattanooga area, we have stayed at the Shallowford Rd. exit. I think that is Exit 5. But it has been a while and we did not need a pet-friendly.

There are a lot of hotels at that exit so if you check Trip Advisor or something like that and narrow your search to that area of I-75, you should be able to find a place there for you and yours.

PS: I think part of that area is called Hamilton Place. (It probably has been about 5 years since we were there but Trip Advisor should have recent comments.)

Pet friendly doesn't mean that there isn't a huge pet fee. Some hotels charge $50 per pet.
If I remember correctly, Shallowford Road in Chattanooga has two hotels that accept pets with NO FEE, La Quinta Inn and Red Roof Inn.
I suggest you google "La Quinta Inns on I-75".
Sable, the next time you stay at a La Quinta, ask for their little yellow book that lists hotels by State.

We travel with 2 dogs from here to Harbor Springs. Maybe you've done this but go to Lq.com and search your travel route for ideas.
Our favorite coming back is the one in Valdosta. Free drinks from 6-8 every day but Sunday.

LQ in Valdosta has free drinks? How did I miss that? Thanks Keith.
