Default Is there a salt water pool in the Villages?

I heard there was a salt water pool - is that a rumor or does anyone know which pool it might be?

Probably a false rumor, or, perhaps, a misinterpretaton.

I believe the pools (at least here south of 466) use a salt-based chlorination system rather than 'pure' chlorine. This results in less stinging of the eyes, a smoother feel on the skin, and less wear and tear on the swimsuits. Not exactly salt water but may be the genesis of what you heard.

We were told that the priority pools were salt water pools....again...just something we were told...I don't remember who told us so I can't really trust the information....however I never smell any chlorine and our bathing suits do not discolor either....

villages07 has pretty much described what a salt water pool is. We have one and love it.

That's probably what they meant. I was hoping it was like the therapy pool at the RDV center in Orlando - it was like swimming in a spa -
