Default golf cart questions

Is there anything you can put in a golf cart so that the turn signal turns off on its own...I am forever forgetting to do this...I do have the signal installed on my cart...but i would love to have it work like my car!

also, anything i can do to muffle the sound on my Yamaha golf cart...it's 2016, has sliding doors...and NOT ELECTRIC...

any advice is helpful..

TIA

There is a new steering column available that works like a car but it is about$1500, it is made by Ididit. There is also sound deadening material for your cart and exhaust system extension. If you bought it from the Villages Golf Cars, you probably already have these installed.

We had two signals wired about eye level one on each side. They are about the height of where the windshield folds. They are very bright and very obvious. They are round about the size of a half dollar. The Villages Golf carts did it for us and I don't remember the cost but probably not that much.

You also may want to talk to Liquid Lights.....they also install different lights at eye level and on your mirrors so you have visability of the turn-signals. Self cancelling capability is expensive. We have two electrics....very quiet ......lol.

I saw the above Elephant Signal mentioned on another thread. looks like an elegant solution.
