Why does it seem that people in political power these days seem to always side with dictators and those that would seek to rule and control rather than to serve and protect freedom and their Constitution?

I think BO is in fact one of those who seeks to rule and control rather than to serve and protect. He seems to side with those who are like minded as do many others who take little notice of their Constitution.

Interesting story about the current state of affairs in Honduras. Here we have a “democratically” elected president who decides that term limits don’t apply to him so he tries to overturn their Constitution to stay in power.

When he can’t, he goes to Hugo Chávez to have his own ballets printed and tells the military to distribute them. Their Supreme Court steps in and says no way and removes him from power.

Obama sides with Manuel Zelaya.. of course.

Anyone what to take a bet that if BO wins in 2012 he’ll make a run at changing the Twenty-second Amendment before 2016?

I thought the President didn't have the power to fire executives, set salaries and take over public sector businesses either but apparently they do. Along with ACORN and the his willing followers in the media anything is possible.

There will be some new national crisis that only he can fix so he'll need a few extra terms to save us.

I'm of course being factious but I'm seeing things I never thought possible from the government so nothing surprises me anymore.
