Default S**t head pence

Pence, you spineless piece of dog crap. You know that Devos is totally unqualified to be our Secretary of Education. If she were a democrat, she would have a zero chance of getting your vote. What the hell is the matter with you Republicans. OK so her family gave 3 million to the trump campaign. Does that mean she bought the Republican vote. What is the cost per Republican senator ???

Devos is another threat to the status quo.
This time in the very well established educational unions and for teacher protection i.e.tenure vs performance.

It will take some time for it to sink in....for many it never will...Trump was elected by those of us who are fed up with the status quo....the establishment.....the crony/do nothing politicians.....the rest of the world taking advantage of the USA......

Not many like or embrace change. Especially the establishment.

For those who only know how to take the partisan position no matter what....forget it. They will however benefit from the changes that will get America back to being first again.

Trump was elected by those who wanted anarchy and Putin at the helm, but weren't smart enough to know...THAT was what they were voting on.

Now, as the rest of the world watches...they will get their wish.

American students proficiency scores have been dropping like a lead balloon for decades despite a promise from every previous Administration to fix the issue .

voucher programs and charter schools have proven they can reverse this trend. and have been more cost effective in doing so.

Progressives rally against deVos because she is not an educator. Yet her work in the filed of education has surpassed those of the Department of Education.

Progressives rally because of the quid pro quo arrangements they have with unions.

The result is we have educators who are over compensated and many who under normal circumstance would be fired for incompetence. and the kicker taxpayers suffer the burden

Like my sister explained when she visited about her grand daughter the teacher said "she ain't got no problem" Oh yes she has replied my sister.

Because I stay up late at night, I watched some of the dems marathon they had last night. Some replays of Devos's hearings were on and she said " I would not stand in the way if the gop deleted funding for special needs children to protect them, special ed is very costly." I always knew they would head in that direction and I hope all you lovely folks out there have real smart grand kids and great grand kids cause the party is going to be over. Parents will be footing the bill going forward for special needs kids soon! Maybe because Trump wants to eliminate gun free zones at schools they will just shoot the needy ones, after all bullets are cheaper the special ed classes! I thought the developer gave up on the learning college rather quickly maybe the ADA will be a thing of the past also, the Morse's are probably in the know I'm sure they are politically connected! Elections have consequences.

Great job, Pence. Too bad we had two FEMALE RINOs that refused to vote for confirmation. Had problems with Susan Collins on Obamacare too. I've seen Democrats more Republican than Collins.

coming from a person who kisses at Trumps feet, your post is not surprise but I was taken back by the previous post about Special Cares Children and it is of concern.

I am, however, a bit of a pragmatist on appointments like this.

I always hope that the career folks in those departments can get some common sense into the actions.

I speak, and with just cause, about my concern on the President and by the way his chief advisors but hope for the best here.

She is sort of dumbfounded by many of the questions on what exactly is the policy.

Her saying "leave it to the states" concerning special needs children is not going to cut it and hopefully this administration will come to grips.

This requires much conversation with PROFESSIONALS and hopefully it will get it.

If things go right and they eliminate the Dept of Ed like they should, you won't have to worry about her. Even Bernie said our kids have to go to college at least two years to get what we received in a high school education. Public schools suck. Charter and Magnet schools are good ideas. Give the kids in the inner cities a chance of receiving a proper education. Too bad the democrats want to spend a lot of money on welfare but don't care about our children.

To top off the insanity, many of those (some on this site actually) who have/had special needs children/grandchildren...are still avid Chump supporters!

Does it get any more sick than that?

Heard a pretty accurate statement today:

Democrats (Libtards) don't believe in choice when it comes to children's education but they believe in choice when it comes to aborting children.

And you are a Killary felon supporter. Go figure.

The response from progressive concerning De Vos was predictable because they are the victims of their own failed educational policies coupled with the political rhetoric from their elected leaders who read from the union handbook in their quid pro quo arrangement.

Public unions simply are a bane to our society because they not only shelter the incompetent they reward them.
( ie everyone gets a trophy).

Every Administration that came in to work through this problem failed because government employees mantra has always been "they will be here perhaps 8 years and when they leave will still be here

Now we have an Administration that is determined to deal with the civil service problem and a Dept of Education secretary that will lift standards and lift scores and provide an opportunity for parents to have some say about the future of their children education

Antbody who thinks Trump or any of his cabinet or hires is the establishment is very uninformed or just being a good partisan soldier and saying what one is told to say whether it makes sense or not.
