Question Cheap plastic garage carriage lights

Anyone replace theirs? Mine are cheap white plastic. Can't keep them clean and I have 5 of them including the post light.

I replaced all of mine. When I went to replace a burned out bulb in the old light fixture, the plastic crumbled in my hand. Also left a white residue all over my hands. What a mess. Went to LOWES and got ones that look similar, but are made of aluminum. Paid $30.00 each. Easy to install and no mess. Several homes in our neighborhood have also replaced the plastic ones.

Default Same thing.

The place we have had plain ordinary bulbs, we replaced them with bright halogen bulbs. Ours too were made of plastic and fell apart when I tried to open them. Also went to Lowe's and got the "3-way" carriage lights made of aluminum. Much, much better.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!
