And to make our lives worse there are far too many who actually have the media as their sole source of information.

It is so evident in the repition in their posts.

What source of information is there other than the media. Unless of course you are at the event. We have FOX to provide the version of news that fits our belief system. Just because we prefer the suppression of news contrary to our beliefs does not justify eliminating oppositional thinking. Rember the "Cold War"? Once the wall of communism fell many countries fled to the ideologies of the West. Capitalism and freedom of speech being two of the elements. The Soviet Union ended. Now we are aligning America with Russia. Putin owns the oil industry and suppresses the opposition.
You can deny reality, you cannot escape it.

One can easily go beyond the main stream media to research and either confirm or deny such a statement.

What is evident is the ever present distortion represented as reality.
