Mattis was a good choice. Tough but not stubborn or antagonistic. Informed and has an understanding of the real world. Like the guy a lot.

Everyone is running around the world apologizing for our President...that is something I never expected so early on.

We have troops there, people helping us and they are fighting ISIS for real, not the pretend stuff from Russia.

Good for Mattis.

The real question of course...did Bannon approve of him doing it?

Which of course as we all know does not last long until somebody, like this post has to attempt to hijack the thread changing the subject and intent.

Why is it the V.P. and cabinet officials have to go around the world and contradict trump's remarks, because they are so inflammatory.

A question that I keep struggling with is whether we need individual policies toward each country...Iraq, Syria, etc., or one policy to cover the Middle East.

My intelligenct self says each must be uniquely crafted, because of the various sects involved. Also, with Russia and Iran both being involved (Not just them obviously but they are big players)

However, I think that individual policy approach, I think requires an overlay because of the other players.

We sure don't want to get drawn in, but we need to be heard..not loud, but heard.

And yet, Chump claims that his administration is running like a "fine-tuned machine."

It's insanity to stand in your yard and deny that your house is on fire...when everyone can see the flames and smoke behind you.
