Default Anomaly

Is The Villages an anomaly in the increasingly more diverse, liberal trend in The USA, or is the variance from the norm more reflective of the TOTV posters?

Just the opposite....Americans are growing more conservative.

Default Does winning the predsidential election, mean a trend toward liberalism?

It was not a landslide victory.
They won due to apathetic republicans (like in FL) and those who voted against Bush (not for Obama).

That does not define a trend except in the Dems and the medias interpretation.

Diversity is what it is. That lot was cast many years ago snf the statistical reproduction is doing it's thing!

Not a trend.

In my humble opinion.

IMO yes to both questions presented.

This is just from my experience. My wife and I have friends that were very liberal, even in the Reagan years. We have always had good hearted debates through the years.
Now, for whatever reason, their idealist attitudes seem to have vanished. Don't know why (I miss the fun) but we have all seemed to morph into some kind of replica of our parents. I don't really want to label it "conservative" but I think alot of us are just more realists and all of life's experiences have tarnished the shine of idealism.
But for the ones who have maintained their beliefs..they have earned the most sincere respect from me.
