Default The Basher-in-chief sets the tone!?!?!

This article explains why it does not go away....it is a promoted party line from the top:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...ailings/print/

Obama (or any other incumbent for that matter) has never ever really had executive experience nor do they understand what comes with the job.
He used the economy for campaign leverage. Now 6 months later when things are not going according to the Obama dictate he, his advisors and constituents fall back on the lame excuse making smoke job of blaming his predecessor or that it was worse than he thought.

When you take on a new job you get what comes with it. Good and bad become your responsibility day one. It is completely and totally unacceptable to point to a predecessor condition as a fault for not making progress. In my corporate America days if anybody came to me and said they couldn't meet their commitments because it was tougher than they thought or if they even attempted to lay the blame for lack of progress on their commitments, they would get a one time warning to cease and desist.....go make the commitments happen....or resign.

Lack of progress on commitments......especially after 6 months into the job......only a politician would/could try something so lame as to STILL be offering the other guy as an excuse.

Now I understand where the Obama constituency gets it from the top and his whiz bang smoke screen advisers.

Now if he had a plan he could tell us where he was off and why....what it will take to recover back to the commitment and when!!! There I go again forgetting we are talking about politicians...no plan....no responsibility....no accountability...what's in it for me preservation.....

Default Campaigner...Not legislator

"In other words, he's never done much work putting legislation together -- especially legislation that channels vast flows of money and affects the workings of parts of the economy that deeply affect people's lives. This lack of experience is starting to show. On the major legislation considered this year -- the stimulus, cap and trade, health care -- the Obama White House has done little or nothing to set down markers, to provide guidance, to establish boundaries and no-go areas."

I assume you are talking about blaming Clinton for the fact that 9/11 happened 9 months into Geoge W. Bush's term?

I would heartily agree!

Could you please post some quotes from President Bush blaming the previous administration for 9/11 or anything else for that matter? Just curious as I don't remember any.

Default ptownrob, please note the thrust of my thread was

whoever is POTUS owns what is in place when they take the job as well as anything that happens during their term. I said or inferred nothing else!

Your stretch rationale (?) stating I blame any other POTUS for anything let alone blaming 9/11 on a non sitting POTUS is sorta out to lunch to remain polite about your inference!!!!

I remain obligated and committed to correct wrong assertions of my words or intentions.

Default I see nothing new here....

as he has shown that he will not take responsibility for any thing bad but will gladly take full credit for anything perceived as good. He has never been gracious when discussing the previous administration or the USA in general. As has been stated many times by many people, the guy is arrogant and self important. When you put yourself so high in such a precarious position, you have nowhere to go but down.
