I don't see anything nasty, cruel, unkind, hostile, uncaring about saying this. I am sure he loathes every thing about the Holocaust like more than 99% of us do.

The Klan has five thousand members, five thousand too many. Thank GOD their numbers continue to shrink. Don't make something not meant to be ugly, ugly, just because you are a Democrat.

It is not ugly etc., just really stupid. Sean Spicer's Holocaust remark is a symptom of Trump's problem (opinion) - CNN.com

If this were a Democrat in Clinton Presidency I would be writing the same thing. The man's an idiot. A PR nightmare.

I agree with gracie on this. Spicer misspoke. We all do that. He obviously meant that chemical weapons were not used on the battlefield.

Don't take one misspoken phrase and turn it into an entire denigrating of the person.

You should watch Saving Private Ryan again. The war was just not on the beaches of Normandy. It was in the towns around civilians as well.

Let's just say that as the spokesperson for the White House, an actual professional would actually choose the right words and phrases that actually mean what is spoken.......

But from Spicer, alternate facts, misspoken phrases, and threats to reporters are now his norm
