As far as I know nothing has been resolved. Its still in LIMBO. It could close at any time. This redressing could make things worse. As far as I know no permission was given to fix it.

There is a negotiation between Marion County and Duke. Lawyers hashing out the details. DO NOT CALL MARION COUNTY. There have been two calls by some individuals complaining to Marion County as to why Marion County is not fixing the path. Those calls ALMOST got the deal nixed. Still not a done deal and Marion County will not be doing any sort of maintenance to keep it up. Everything done so far to make this path better has been done by some volunteers in Stonecrest. There are people working on this. Let it lay. Just be thankful and enjoy the path.
