Trump, WHO I VOTED FOR, is suggesting that charter schools will improve education.

Simply, without any thought, it sounds like a good idea.
We have been through this in the past with FORCED school busing to integrate schools. The result was a mass exit from the cities to the suburbs. In NY it is not unusual for people to commute an hour or two so that their kids do not go to city schools.

Charter schools, will result in a death to the public schools.
A grand exit of any student. or family of any student that realizes that education is important. We have allowed LIBERAL CONTROL of our PUBLIC SCHOOLS by the TEACHER'S UNION since the 1960's. Whether liberal or conservative all sane people see this is not working. IT IS NOT MORE MONEY WILL SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. We currently spend twice per student compared to what competing countries do. IT IS TIME, IT IS LONG PAST TIME FOR CHANGE. It is time not only to give teachers power but responsibility for RESULTS.
