Default Found the answer.

Called the District and got the scoop. All depends on where your lot line is.

I do not know if this is any different from the 20 feet of lawn that I have to maintain and water between my house and the road at the back of the house. I am not allowed to use this land (no plantings, structures, landscaping, etc.), but I have to maintain it. You got a wall. It will be interesting to see what develops.

Not worried so much about the black fence but looking at a lot with a sizable stacked retaining wall they are telling me will be my responsibility for repairs or replacement if there ever needs to be any.
Thanks for any first hand information you have. I sent an email to the District asking for information also.
I think that is District 10. Here is a link to one of the unit's Declaration of Restrictions from that District. Read Section 2.12 for your answer. The short answer is what you are being told is true.

I inquired about the repair of the black fence along Cy RD 100 and the District said it is the responsibility of the homeowner where the damaged fence is located.

Call warranty. You can speak to someone who knows exactly how it works.

Our first house in Hadley had a stone wall about a yard high, separating our property from the the Odell rec center. Every year someone came and power washed the wall.

I will also tell you what you probably already know. You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar.

We were told that the fence was our responsibility. Not the retaining wall.

2.7 - good

2.20 - WTF

2.23 - so, if you have a fish tank, only 2 fish (and because of 2.20 they can come and look at any time).

Personally, I like everything except no pet rocks.
