For the second time in public, Melania corrected Donald and it was caught on camera.

The first time was at the White House Easter Egg Roll. Melania noticibly gave Donald a nudge with her arm to get him to cover his heart at the National Anthem.

The second time, yesterday, when he reached to hold hands with her at a royal reception. She gave a quick swat to his hand to say it was not the Presidential thing to do.

Neither was a political thing but amusing to see that even Donald Trump gets corrected by his wife now and then.

I think she is probably basically a decent person and by far...the smarter of the two.


I'll bet she wonders many times every day, her choice to trade financial security...for marrying the moral and intellectual equivalent of a rock.

The hand swat was not a royal reception, it happened in Israel. Bibi and wife were holding hands walking on the red carpet to Donald's right. He looked over and saw that and realized maybe he could show some affection, even if artificial, for his wife. So he reached out with his left hand toward his wife who swatted his hand away and she moved away from him to avoid any repeat.

But today, on arriving in Rome, at the top of the stairway exiting Air Force One, it happened again. Apparently the President thought Melania got the message not to do it again, reached for her hand and she pulls it away. He responds by putting his hand on her butt. So smooth.

They don't live together, had separate quarters in the NYC home. While I am sure there are some feelings between the Trumps and she does not wish him ill, after all his $ucce$$ is hers too, there are never any hints of affection which we have seen in every POTUS marriage in my life. She is a trained model, was very successful at it, and clearly has the skills to be poised to be aware of her body language and smile. You see none of it with her spouse.

I take no pleasure in the misery of Donald's marriage as he is the President and he is in so many ways unprepared by temperament and lack of experience to do the job, and adding to it the stress of public humiliation and a wife who is disdainful only adds to his inability to focus on learning and doing his job./s

Wow, to think that anyone is concerned about this issue! Many first ladies of the past have corrected their spouses. Couples do that, even here. If that is what liberal news is all about, concerned about then this country has definitely become wussified. Get a life!

The best you can come up with is a hand slap? What in hell is wrong with you disrespectfull son of a bitches? He is the leader of the country u reside in. Why would you speak of him like this? He is a fine person who is a mover and shaker and will come thru for our country big time. He won the presidency in a unothodox manner. I don't see why the opposition can not let him have his chance for the first four years and then see where we stand before he wins his second term and then changes the rules so he can run for a third and fourth term. Now you will have the chance to think about this when you awake tonight laying in bed worrying about him being president for the rest of your life. Repent for your thoughts about our president you still have the time to save yourself. If the Democrats had a real candidate President Trump would be in his office in New York.
