Arrow Priority Golf

We are going to purchase a championship priority golf membership for two courses and since Palmer is the course we've been playing and enjoy, that will be one of our choices. We need to pick a second course and since we haven't played the other championship courses we would like to hear what course you would choose and why. Thanks

Default I have 3 courses

My wife and I pick the 3 course option. We went with GV, HH, and Cane Garden. We like them all but think Cane Garden might be second one for you. I would pick this only because iy is pretty close to Palmer. If you are used to heading in that direction it would be a quick ride between them. The Course is very nice and has some interesting holes. It is a newer area so it might be fun just watching things develop (houses being built) around you while playing. One more thought however is if you play a lot, don't limit yourself to just 2 courses. As I played I met several golfers that I now play with on a regular basis and each week we bounce around to the different courses. I am sure wish I had gotten the full Monty for me and only 2 courses for the wife as she doesn't play nearly as much. I need to weigh out the Price/membership options closer for next year when I renew. I could also just pay the difference for the rest of this membership because they do allow that option.

In my opinion, the courses at Mallory are more of a challenge than most of the courses. If you are looking for a challenge, you might consider Mallory.

You didn't mention if you are full time or will be snowbirds. I've noticed the last couple of years, in the winter, particularly March - May, the newer courses such as Mallory, Cane and Havana, get really dried out like concrete. The older courses, such as Glenview are more established and are in nicer condition , so that might be a consideration for you. On the other hand, this summer when we've had so much rain, Glenview was closed or in not great shape quite a few times because of water on the course and muddy conditions. Might depend on your location too. Glenview is about a 20-25 minute golf cart ride for us, while Mallory and Cane are right around the corner so we tend to play more at Mallory and Cane, although as I said, in the winter Glenview's conditions rivaled those of Palmer. But you never know, now that Mallory and Cane have been here a few years, they may finally be getting more mature, and they may be in better shape this coming winter.

Suggest you play all the courses and then make your decision. You may have different expectations than those recommending a course.

Also,

The difference in price from 2 - all of the courses is a reasonable number. We think we will do all this year, then decide if we want to limit ourselves based on where we play.

I believe they may also let you change your mind and switch courses (once) if you do it within the first couple of weeks or so. Seems like I remember them saying that. You could double-check.
