Default Great health symptoms website

Just broke something in my knee while walking. I've been doing research on it before my doctors apt. and found a great website.
http://yourtotalhealth.ivillage.com/

It asks questions about you and your symtoms and as you progress it shows from most likely to least likely and gives it in percent of possibility.
I'll be interested in seeing how accurate it is when I visit the Orthopedic doctor.
It also showed me what is involved in treating the injury or sickness.

Results from MRI was torn cartlidge (meniscus) in knee. This was the second choice of diagnosis from the web site I found. I will keep that website in my favorites as it seems to be very useful.

Sorry about your injury. The meniscus in my right knee is shredded. First diagnosed some 30 years ago. Sometimes I have severe pain that is worse when sitting or lyng down. It is always relieved by an injection of cortisone in the knee. I have seen several orthopedists and none of them ever proposed surgery.

jblum8156,
Since apparently mine isn't as severe as yours, its only torn on the outer edge, the surgeon said that they go in and shave away the torn portion authoscoptly. Mine is feeling better now and am going to wait to see if it gives me any problems.
