WASHINGTON, June 5 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump will not invoke executive privilege to block former FBI Director James Comey's scheduled testimony before Congress this week, the White House said on Monday.

What serious voters want is an end to the jittery pokery antics of the #NeverTrump movement that are at minimum obstructionist with a few leaning close to anarchy.

Experts say that if Trump tries to invoke executive privilege with respect to his conversations with Comey, it likely won't hold any water.

"Executive privilege has traditionally been used to justify the president refusing to make available people or documents within the control of the executive branch," said Keith Whittington, a professor of politics at Princeton University. Comey is no longer under the control of the executive branch, Whittington said, which is why "the executive branch has no capacity to withhold him from Congress."

Thursday should be interesting...if Mueller lets him talk.

Hillary and bill tried to change that stereotype when they signed a bunch of foundation checks on the front. Unfortunately they never earned that money, never had a legitimate job.

Trump can't invoke executive privilege because he has no legal grounds to do so. If Trump is smart he'll hold off on his "tweeting" for awhile. What are the chances of that happening. He's already made himself look like even more of an idiot (if that is even possible) with his dumb tweets misrepresenting the remarks of the mayor of London. What an awful thing to do, with all they are going through. Trump is a low class jerk.
