Default Big Storms

I understand there has been some huge, horrific storms in TV the past week.

Tell me about them and what village you are from.

Thanks in advance.

We are away on Vacation.

I'm a storm spotter for the NWS, living in Sanibel. We've had just over 3" of rain in the last week - and no storms I would call horrific by a long shot.

Agreed. Nothing bad and we could use more rain.

Pine Ridge area received a little less than 2" in the past week. It depends on your location. This is welcomed and pretty normal. don't pay to much attention to the weather channel. We should know they cherry pick and dramatize for their own purposes. If I took them literally I would believe Phoenix is dying in record heat. It also is just a normal summer heat and that is based on personal experience.

Heck of a lightning show in the sky toward Leesburg last night. Quite impressive! Ground strikes going off about every 15 sec.

Lots of thunder and lightning over Lynnhaven on Thursday night from 7 to 8 PM or so. The loudest and most recurrent that I have heard since 2005. I was away for some two week periods or less from 2005-2009 and also in 2015 for a week though. So, I might have missed something during that time. Trips to DC or Palm Harbor, FL.

That's what I heard also. Leesburg got the brunt of the storms.
