First of all, the health bill...whichever one we will finally see. Since the President has not shown one, we can only take clues from what he says and assume he is, as most suspect, behind the Baucas plan.

Now the health proposal is full of all kinds of little "tentacles" just like the so called "stimulus" plan which we have found out was nothing but almost pure pork. It is interesting to see the following concerning a democratic senator on the health bill "HIDDEN TAXES"....

"It's not every day that you hear a Democratic senator charge that a fellow Democrat is proposing to raise taxes on the middle class, but that is what happened on Tuesday when Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., ripped into the health-care bill developed by Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mt., the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee."

You need to read and see how the little tentacles work and how this president and congress just play with words !!!

Now, on to the cap and trade bill....and this information is from the Obama administration...oh wait..it was private but found under the Freedom of Information Act...or we would not have really known this...so much for that transparent administration, which was gone a long time ago !

Any way this little bit will cost us more money as taxpayers...

I think you will see a major uprising against the Baucus giveaway to the health industry. Dems are fighting mad about this sell-out. People were waiting respectfully, but impatiently, to see if Baucus could actually accomplish what he claimed to be trying (bi-patianship AND reform)- He did neither, and only showed himself to be totally in the posckets of big business.

I predict he will go down in total disgrace for this disgusting bit of political hacking, possibly even losing his chairman's post. If, as it's being said, the lobbyists wrote his version of the "reform" bill, you can be sure that many, many rank & file Democrats will be calling for his ouster.

I worked with Jay Rockefeller & he is a good and decent man- and a true defender of affordable health care. I believe, like Ted Kennedy would have felt as well, that his sense of betrayal is real and heartfelt.
