Default lettuce wedge

A lettuce wedge may not seem like much, but I do like them. Applebee's has a new menu and the lettuce wedge is no longer available, as the lemon shrimp pasta.

Without having to go to many restaurants, will you please tell me where you have seem it on the menu. I really did not want to post this, but after a while I decided I really had to ask.

Thank you!

I believe Bonefish Grill offers one on their menu. (I love them, too!)

How exactly is a lettuce wedge made, prepared, presented?

As a kid we were served a lettuce wedge with a dressing of a combination of mayonnaise, ketchup and a little sugar and vinegar, sometimes sweet pickle relish was added.

Here's how I like it: a wedge of lettuce with really good blue cheese dressing, chunks of blue cheese on top, crumbled, crispy bacon and tomatoes.

From the Bonefish online menu...

"Tay’s Wedge Salad tomatoes, crumbled Blue cheese, crispy onions, bacon and Blue cheese dressing 6.7 | with entrée 5.7"

I had a good lettuce wedge at World of Beer in Brownwood last summer.

A lettuce wedge I can easily prepare at home; chop, chop. I want a salad with a plethora of fresh exotic ingredients at a restaurant.

Default Lettuce wedge

I have seen them at many of the Country Clubs. I know Evans Prairie has them. They come with a bleu cheese dressing I think.

Thank you for your replies. Saved me from having to go to many places just to find a lettuce wedge.

A head of lettuce, quarter it, sprinkle some blue cheese on it, then some bacon bits and some blue cheese dressing--prep time under 10 minutes==I would not go out to eat something that I could make at home blindfolded=
