Default Python Captured

I was looking at the local area news this morning.

A 9 foot python was captured in Eustis yesterday. A utility worker saw the big snake in a field and called the police. Police officers captured the snake, had their picture taken with it and turned the python over to FWS officials.

Eustis is mighty close to The Villages! Just imagine what damage could be inflicted by pythons if they ever got a start here. Hopefully, the python in Eustis was an escaped snake and not one that bred in the wild.

They get bigger, and so do their appetites!

Unfortunately, it's probably only a matter of time.

Destructive invasive species. Both Florida and Hawaii are suffering.

Or golfers, like the commercial with the octopus . ALL foreign invasive animals/reptiles/fish/insects/birds should be ban and heavy fines imposed for possession. Smugglers and dealers in trade if caught should get minimum 15 years in prison minimum and fined 50.000 dollars. Plus if it can be traced back to them when death occurs life in prison.

There are enough damn native snakes that can kill we don't need foreign invasive species, but as usual, the governments at all levels full of carpetbagging politicians and away 20 years to late on anything. The only way now to some what control them open season bounty. You know like they did with the wolf and coyotes.

Another good example starlings and English sparrows wiping out native songs birds and woodpeckers around metropolitan areas.
