Default Yamaha Golf Cart Windshield Seal tore

Is there a way to repair the rubber seal strip that holds the two windscreens together, allowing the top half of the windshield to go down? Hate to replace the whole windshield ($220) if the rubber seal strip can be replaced. Of course, the cart is out of warranty! Thanks

Deb,
I looked at a few parts websites and checked youtube for how to replace the seal videos. No luck. You can call Carts and Clubs in Ocala, 352-351-2278. They have been good in answering questions for me. Check their windshield prices. I saw several on Buggies Unlimited website for $89 to $125. Good Luck.

OP

Google “golf cart windshield hinge”. You will find many sources, (from Amazon to golf specialty companies) who have specific repair kits if you choose to fix rather than replace.

Two small hinges solved the problem
