Default How about kneeling for name change of NFL Redskins

If NFL players are sooooo concerned about racism, how come NONE of the players, ever boycotted signing a HUGE contract with the Washington Redskins, an offensive name. How come NO PLAYERS boycotted playing until their name was changed. The Native American Indian got screwed by settlers----They got kicked off their land, killed, forced onto reservations. Guess the NFL players don't know much about real history.

Thugs only care about themselves. Now we can laugh as their salaries go down.

I cannot see anything offensive in the word Redskins or that it is meant to describe American Indians. They are words. I have never harbored any negative thoughts in my whole life against native Americans. NONE.

And that is exactly how the majority of us feel about the issue.

Because in defense...they never slaughtered part of your family...as we too did to them.

Nah...not white people...we try to save EVERYONE.

Now the minorities on the other hand...they ARE violent. They do kill. And they hold a grudge. They blame white people for ALL their problems and shortfallings. They ARE changing America.

Your granddaughters and their daughters will lead hard lives. Living under the tyranny of the minority men. You know...all that stuff that men get away with in 3rd world countries...is coming to America. Good luck girls!

Well even more to the point the Supreme court also feels the same way. The Court's recent decision in upholding the rock group Slants claims settle the by matter protecting the band's right to their name even though it would offend some.

I consider the name Redskins as honoring them and recognizing them. I do not see it as a negative. Don't we refer to African Americans as "black man?" The black man does not seem to find that label to be negative.

Exactly Redskins and Braves are associated with sports teams and in today's world players are viewed as great warriors...and so on

Personal Best Regards;
