Default Lanai Expansion

I am considering adding an 8' x 12' addition to my lanai. Has anyone used Precision Aluminum or Kilcrease Construction for this type of project, or can you reccommend other contractors?

I just send you a PM with the name of a General Contractor who was a former Village Construction Supervisor who has done outstanding work in our neighborhood. He is licended, deals with village approvals daily, knowledgeable with county codes. He has built in our immediate village everything from Custom entertainment centers (wall to wall in a Lantana..OUTSTANDING), Custom shelves and cabinet in laundry areas, crown moulding, and lanai extensions (including engineered roof extensions) and enclosures.

A big difference between him and the big boys is he is on-site everyday and you deal with him directly. He will know what you want so there is no middle man to deal with while construction is underway. His overhead is much lower and thus he can price his produt cometitively.

Just let me know if you need any additional information.

I really like Jerome's Masonry. He has done two wonderful additions for us and is starting the third next week.
T and D is finishing up a project for us also. I like T and D but their job has taken a long time to complete. Like Jerome, they also stand behind their product. They built a large concrete courtyard with knee walls then installed pavers over the entire area down to the street.
I am impressed with both companies.

Check out the testimonials on his site.

Kathie

Since you last stopped by with Nonie, we have decided on and started our big project. Expanding the family room by knocking out the sliding glass doors, raisng the lanai floor 4 inches, fully enclosing the lanai with all glass including extending the heat/ac with diagonal tile laid throughout. Then we are knocking out a window in the master bedroom making it into a doorway leading into a NEW block hexagonal "Hobby" room that also has access to the expanded family room (formerly the lanai), and finally adding a patio entrance to the new family room.

Concrete is laid, block walls are up, expect to have the framing up this week followed by the roof and windows.

Always something to do!!
